Publications & Work
I write poetry and hybrid nonfiction shaped by my experience in the U.S. Army and Air Force National Guard, working-class Ohio, and the long process of reintegration. My work explores trauma, moral injury, military absurdity, and the fractured tension between service and home.
Current Projects
Not Broken Enough
My MFA thesis from Syracuse University (2025). The manuscript was long-listed by the Laura Boss Poetry Foundation’s annual manuscript contest. These poems have been in development since leaving Active Duty in 2017, part of an effort to understand and articulate my military experience.
Memoir-in-Fragments (in progress)
A hybrid nonfiction project built from scenes, letters, and fragmented narratives exploring reintegration, memory, fear, and the aftereffects of military service on the body and home.
